On Mon Jun 27, 2005, someone on the Star Syndicate Forums posted links to “Glock’s” profiles on Newgrounds (mocking them for idiotic actions on the forums). BreadfruitClock, who was a regular at the time, saw the topic and found a “GlockGroup” idea to be funny. He responded in the topic with this pic:

A topic by CannabisClock on the Locklegion forums stated that he was changing his name to cannabis_glock and posted a picture of a weed plant with a glock on it. Some belive this is where PineappleGlock got the idea from, but the topic was posted a day or two later. This dead link contained cannabis’s topic. Over an AIM discussion, AMPMClock and Breadfruit decided to create the lil’ spin off. Breadfruit stated before going to bed “You know this isn’t gonna go anywhere, right?”. AMPM replyed, “Who knows!”. After a week or so of minor advancement, Breadfruit went on vacation to Florida. When he got back, the member count exploded and the GG was hosted on a new site.

The Glock Group is an unabashed Clock Crew parody group founded by PineappleGlock (BreadfruitClock), GoldenGlock (AMPMClock), RaspberryGlock (NorwayClock) and MushroomGlock(TruffleClock).

The first few movies created by Golden and Pineapple were blammed. The first movie to ever pass for the Glock Group was |GG-Angry and was created by MushroomGlock and RaspberryGlock after Raspberry created a parody of Drunkmagikoopa’s movie AGNRY!!!!! !111. July 17th, 2005, the day that |GG-Angry passed, is considered Glock Day among glocks.

A great accomplishment for the GlockGroup was the obtaining of its own NG collection page, as well as getting front page with Gost of you.

Then came BitClock. He said he would host the glocks on a dedicated server, basically unmetered bandwith. The only thing they needed was a domain, so RaspberryGlock bought GlockGroup.net and after over 6 hours of a chat between Mushroom, Bit, and Raspberry (even if Rasp didn’t do anything), GlockGroup.net was set up and running. The day of conception for GlockGroup.net was Wed Aug 03, 2005.

Well, after the GlockGroup shot to fame (/rimshot) alot of other ripoffs started to brew hoping to get the same fame. These groups where usually created by clockcrew rejects, some of the more annoying ones where:

* Block Brigade

* Hippie Hangout

* Block Band

* Sock Squad

…and thats just the tip of the iceberg. There are too many to count really, some lasting 10 minutes, others almost a year. A favorite Glockgroup pastime would be to join their little community, get mod/admin status, and fuck shit up. With this, the GlockGroup made several enimes. Hippie Hangout doesn’t earn the title of best name, but it did for biggest threat. Their creator, Limon (aka mintcake), had some hacking skills, and would constantly would attack the GG in various ways.

PineappleGlock - Creator and active member. Sucked big ones at being an admin.

MushroomGlock - Was involved with a lot of the killing off of the other ripoffs, very active in flash. Severed as a role model for most glocks.

RaspberryGlock- Most dedicated to hosting/site upkeep/ect. Left during GG’s first year because he believed the group wasn’t funny anymore.

GoldenGlock - Co Creator, spent a great deal of time when the Glockgroup first picked up but didn’t really visit afterwards.

ROFLMuffinGlock - (BluehippoClock) A great artist and fantastic contributor. Was very active.

RaishGlock - (AubergineLock) although very inactive, created by far some of the greatest flash the group had to offer.

BlackBerryGlock - (TremcladClock) Active member with astounding artistic skills that contributed alot the the crew.

Gost - (happy leet gost) A member who was used in alot of glock flash, alot of inside jokes contained him.

Mostly Spam flash made to annoy, along the GlockGroup’s seemingly endless pile of movies there where a few that skill was put into. MelonGlock -Front Paged well displayed flash by MelonGlock (DiaLock)

TCOF Screaming Musrooms - A classic!

Two jokes “stolen” (overused to the point where it looked like we created it) from the star syndicate, these two inside jokes play a huge role in many of the Group’s flashes.

An AIM emote of a sad clown, when used in flash it is accompanied by a large, ear raping sound.

A word which has no meaning, “gug” is considered to be the “B” of the GlockGroup.

After alittle less then two years running, the GlockGroup started to die. This is because some of its members, including PineappleGlock, started taking the group too seriously. After a few months of drama, the group fell apart. Several attempts where made to resurrect it by lesser members, but all failed. To this day it remains a found memory of the Glocks who where there during the “Golden ages”.
