History

Q Block is black [lol flux] and was born on September 13,1991. Through out most of his life, he was interested in art and animation. At the age of 9, he had his first try at using Flash, making tons of either incomplete, or completely crappy movies. As most do, he started out with stick movies (mainly based off of movies such as the matrix). However, he was smart enough not to submit his first flashes to www.Newgrounds.com. So most of his flashes, are gone and mostly unseen by anyone but himself. As the years progressed, Q Block started getting better with flash, reading some tutorials on the internet, and fooling around in the later flash versions that followed flash 5. He had become very active on Newgrounds in the summer of 2005. So like every other newgrounds user, he knew about the Clock Crew. And like most NG users, he was a huge clock crew hater. Every clock movie that he saw, he would 0 it. Anti-clock was a hero to him. Q Block loved his work, and his hate towards the clock community. However, Q Block would not be prepared for what would happen to him on that 15th day of August, 2005.

During the course of that summer, Q Block entered many collabs, only 2 were completed and submitted. One of them was the “Don’t Phunk With My Heart” collab, which did not get submitted until November 1st, 2005, due to drop outs. And he joined another collab. The “5 second” collab. This day will forever be imprinted in Q Block’s mind. The 5 second collab was submitted on August 15th, 2005. Strangely, there seemed to be a lot of clock movies flooding the portal. At the time, Q Block had never heard of Clockday, so this was all relatively new to him. The whole day, the portal was filled with clock movies. Q Block just didn’t get it, so he asked one of the other artists in the 5 second collab what was going on. After learning about clockday, Q Block had gotten bored. It was now around 9:30 PM for him. So out of nowhere, he decided to make and submit a clockday movie to Newgrounds. Not being able to think/know of what clock names were taken, he simply just made himself Deja Clock. He later thought of the idea of Cloud Clock (this was before he even knew about the lock legion and wonchop). After hours of work, he finally shit out a horribly made movie (his best work at the time) which got a score of 3.60 (rounding). The movie was entitled "Happy Belated Clockday" due to it’s lateness. It was then at that moment, he realized he enjoyed making that movie. He thought about joining the clock crew…but didn’t.

In 2005, Q Block befriend someone at his school who went by the alias Skally (Paperclip Clock). It wasn’t until December of 2005 when PaperClip mentioned the clock crew to him that he decided to actually join. December 5, 2005 was the date that Q Block had signed up for the CC BBS. Since then, Q Block has gone through various names. Starting out as Deja_v00, then moving to Deja Clock, to Q Block Clock, Digital Corpse Grinder Clock, and is now currently Zen Micro Clock. He is still one of the very few black members on the Clock Crew boards, joining the only 3 active ones known as of now, Badegg clock, English Clock, and Coal Clock.
