Strawberry Clock. That’s a name that instantly comes to mind when you say the word “Clock Crew” to so many people. On August 15th, 2001, Strawberry Clock submitted B to the portal. This was never meant to pass. It was a front to laugh at peoples reviews, as were most of SBC’s movies. He explains the history of it in b2 by CoolBoyMan, how there was a glitch in the portal as it passed with below minimal scores. The same was never repeated for strawberrylock and N. At the time, Strawberry Clock was 14 years old.

Some say that B is the reason that the Clock Crew exists, while others believe that we would still be here even if B hadn’t been submitted. No matter which side you believe, it is a plain fact that a large, bold, red, Times New Roman B is the symbol for the Clock Crew. It stands for what we are at core, a spam group. Yet we are a spam group that have evolved in to a fully fledged flash website. We revolve around flash now, not spam.

Of course, Strawberry didn’t only submit B. There are many other movies in his arsenal. Here’s a few.

Yet another of his early ones, here he edited a bunch of random pictures of Donald Duck from the Disney cartoons in MS Paint and threw them into his movie.

A looping movie in which a poorly drawn Mickey Mouse pees on the ground under him. The audio used in this movie has a questionable origin, but is assumed to have been recorded by Strawberry himself.

The only thing in this movie is a single piece of text reading “Im making a Porno movie! If you want to see it, vote 5 Now!” as to trick the viewer into voting 5 under the allusion that they’ll get free porn.

A few drawings are shown to illustrate a parody of Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas. The audio here was recorded by Strawberry Clock and is rather unintelligible.

Strawberry Clock is the main role in very many Clock Crew movies, of course, and he has developed a general character. Strawberry Clock is usually portrayed as being greedy, careless, self-centered, simple minded, childish, quick to make decisions and mean. This can often cause awkward situations, since he is king of the portal.

He is also portrayed as harnessing the power of “B” and using it to attack people, such as summoning it and throwing it at people, or doing even crazier things. At other times he will randomly shout out “B!” He is often to appear as though he is obsessed with B.

In The Void II from Blue Clock, one of Strawberry’s biggest quotes was spawned. In the scene when the elder clocks are in their underground shelter, Pineapple is discussing various tactics against the Void. At one part, Strawberry says “Can I drive?” in response to Piney talking about the army. Pineapple tries to tell Strawberry that you can’t drive an army, but Strawberry insists on getting to drive. They eventually resort to tieing Strawberry in a sack. This is how his catch phrase, “Can I drive?” was formed.

Strawberry Clock proclaimed himself King of the Portal, the portal being the Newgrounds Flash Portal. In movies, he is generally portrayed as the ruler of Clocktopia (or wherever the clocks are residing at in the movie), and his decisions can effect the entire course of the movie, and more than not, affect it negatively, due to his attitude.

Originating from Turd Clock movies, such as Strawberry's Computer, Turd Clock is often Strawberry’s “bitch” in movies, dressed as a maid and doing whatever Strawberry wishes. He is often humiliated by Strawberry’s actions, and has a secret dislike of Strawberry.

The most widely used .fla for Strawberry Clock, created by Strange Clock and Digital Lemon Clock can be found here. Just because it’s widely used doesn’t mean you can’t draw one yourself, though!

In reality, StrawberryClock was just an alternate account of regular Newgrounds user Coolboyman, which he used to spam the portal.

So as time went on and the Clock Crew was formed, Strawberry took no interest in the clock crew and slowly stopped visiting NewGrounds as he grew older. He eventually made a long post about his feelings toward the clock crew, which you can view here. In general SBC feels a dislike for the Clock Crew, but still stops by very rarely, such as Clockday ‘06, when he wished us all a happy Clock Day.

Strawberry Clock is generally reguarded by the Clock Crew to be our mascot and nothing more, and Coolboyman is regarded to just be a friend to the Clock Crew who doesn’t want to connect himself with the Clock Crew any further than he has.

Coolboyman is looking to take up writing as his career, working with an animator, for a group called Toonimated. He aims to get a pilot episode of a series called Drastic Measures out, whether on TV(Cartoon Network) or on the internet. There have yet to be any signs of his show.
