Clock Crew Official Mayor Nominations Thread

Here you can declare that you are running for mayor of the clock crew. Nomination period will be 5 days from the moment this thread is posted. You will be expected to campaign, slander other competitors, commit libel, produce campaign buttons/banners/posters/FLASH MOVIES/etc.

After nomination period I will create a thread with a period of voting (to be determined when I'm sober). We expect even more attempts at pandering and slander and bribes during this period.

The winner will be declared Official Mayor of the Clock Crew for the remainder of 2012 and will be given their own special user group with no grid access or anything special, but you will have pointless arbitrary responsibilities (to be decided by staff at a later date).

I stand before you here today, worried. We are at a pivotal point in our fair city's existence. Everyday, more Clocktopians are turned out on the street. Our children are no longer allowed to learn the Way of B in our schools. It has even been said that our great nation will go the way of the $500 steakhouse, but I propose to you, my fellow Clocks, that there is another way.

There are many of us here who remember still the glory days of the Crew. Before we were caught up in all the senseless, polemic, polarizing "Clock/Lock/Glock/Block" business. I propose to you, fair citizens, that these are the values that we need to return to. A land where all Clocks are treated as one. A land where a Clock is judged not by the color of their forum posts, but by the contents of their FLA.

One of my opponents, MightyBoosh, has officially been on record as saying

I believe there will be some who agree with my opponent's views. It is an inevitability in today's society that any view can garner support in some degree. But I have faith in the true good will of my fellow Clocks, and it is for this reason that I formally announced my candidacy for the Mayor of ClockCrew.
