I don't know if the British food over there is different then the British food over here or not. But as far as I can tell It consists of "meat" wrapped in pastry and covered in tomato sauce. That's it. That is all they eat.
Eating British food is like taking a bite out of a bag of flour.

Usually the dutch, but I did once make a thread I was rather proud of regarding how the Americans were majority shareholders of the English language, and that it was thus now the American language.

I did, in part, mean some of what I said there. Loads of British food is derived from other cultures, especially when considering that Britain is actually several small cultures mashed very close together and just a hop across the pond from the cultural clusterfuck that is Europe. Most "British" dishes can be traced very directly to other cultures, generally Germanic ones. Britain simply has the advantage that it's way friggin' older so a lot of the cuisine was established much longer ago.

I will say, however, that I mean no slight whatsoever on the British cheese industry, I think it's generally under-appreciated internationally, though I'm certainly no cheese snob.
