I watched 2001, and although I think it was incredibly well made and the imagery was amazing, it was far too drawn out and confusing to be interesting. I mean even when he's taking out a rebelling supercomputer a.i. there's no action to speak of and the shot takes two minutes.

Now lets not forget about The Shining. That movie was amazing.
